Our Governor has done some amazing things. He has been a fighter for Florida, through and through. You could argue that he's the best Governor in the country and a front-runner to lead this great nation in 2024. However, with 67 school districts, it's impossible to know everything about every candidate in these races.
Governor Desantis, while assuming he's continuing to fight the good fight while endorsing Mom's for Liberty candidate, Jackie Rosario, may not have realized he is actually endorsing someone who has defrauded New York City's School District, was fired multiple times in the great state of Florida, and also homeschools her child instead of sending him to the schools in which she is affecting policy.
We feel that Governor Desantis should know all of these facts about Jackie Rosario and you should too.
Jackie Rosario admitted in 2018 that she filed for bankruptcy while she was very young. However, when asked in 2022 if she'd ever filed for bankruptcy by TCPalm, she replied 'N/A'. Would Governor Desantis call someone who filed for bankruptcy 'fiscally conservative'? Would he want someone who filed for bankruptcy to run the largest budget in the county? We don't think so.
While Jackie Rosario was working in the New York City School District, she got pregnant and took a leave of absence, like any expectant mother would do. However, instead of resting, she moved to Florida and began working at Fort Pierce Westwood High School while still on leave in New York, therefore defrauding the New York City School District. This caused the NYC School District to recommend she be ineligible for future employment with the district in the future.
Jackie Rosario asked the School District to investigate a donation of $70 worth of bottled water to a local 501(c)3. This cost tax payers over $1,200 and the Information Technology department had to sort through up to 20,000 emails to inform Rosario that no illegal activity was conducted. This certainly isn't fiscally conservative, nor efficient government at work.
Our great Governor surely didn't endorse Jackie Rosario to protect 'portal rights'. Did the Governor make this error or did the candidate he endorse do this? It's embarrassing that a candidate running to legislate education would make an error like this.
Jackie Rosario posted pictures with former NFL player and respected community member Dale Dawkins, claiming endorsement...
...until Dawkins emailed the board, the superintendent, the Supervisor of Elections, and the Ethics Committee in Tallahassee asking her to remove the post from her social media sites.
What would Governor Desantis do if someone used his picture without authorization, claiming he endorsed them? Would he approve of this lack of character? He surely wouldn't want someone like this on the School Board.
Jackie Rosario held a mortgage with First American Mortgage Solutions from 2008 until 2020.
However, on her 2019 Form 6, she didn't claim her mortgage as a liability.
She also failed to claim her mortgage on her 2018 Form 6.
Larry Reisman of TCPalm had this to say about it:

The State of Florida says, " A Florida resident who has been certified by one Florida licensed physician as being totally and permanently disabled, but not requiring the use of a wheelchair for mobility, can qualify for a $500 Disability Exemption on the assessed value of the property. Once approved, this exemption is automatically renewed every year."
Is Jackie Rosario totally and permanently disabled? Would Governor Desantis approve of a candidate claiming disability if they weren't actually disabled?
According to Vero Lago, a lien was placed on Rosario's home for the amount of $2,988.97. Along with Rosario's bankruptcy, would Governor Desantis want someone in office with multiple fiscal infractions?
Mrs. Rosario was fired from the St. Lucie School District after only 10 months.
Mrs. Rosario was fired from the Indian River County School District after one year.
Would Governor Desantis endorse this candidate, knowing that she is unable to keep a job, getting fired from 3 school districts, in 2 states?
Does Governor Desantis want this person to make policy decisions for our great county?
